“Really Good Wood” Handcrafted Charcuterie Boards Now Sold at Bennett’s

If you’ve ever enjoyed a scrumptious steak at Bennett’s Kitchen Bar Market, you may have noticed our gorgeous wooden serving boards. We are proud to source these boards from a local vendor called Really Good Wood. In fact, we love Really Good Wood products so much that we are now selling their charcuterie boards in our retail display! Handcrafted from Bastogne Walnut and Claro Black Walnut, these boards incorporate locally sourced reclaimed urban lumber.

Based in Rocklin, the artisans at Really Good Wood have been creating beautiful customized pieces for over 35 years. Their selection of products ranges from hand-carved wooden spoons and charcuterie boards to toys and elevated stands for pet bowls. Really Good Wood also crafted the vintage crates that are used to display baked goods at the Bennett’s coffee bar! In addition to Bastogne Walnut and Claro Black Walnut, Really Good Wood utilizes Elm, English Walnut, Maple, Cottonwood, and other varieties of locally sourced wood, as well reclaimed wine crates. Each piece is carefully designed to showcase the natural beauty of the raw materials.

In addition to sharing our passion for quality, Really Good Wood also shares Bennett’s commitment to serving our community. They often donate the labor and materials used in creating their elevated pet bowls, with proceeds from sales paid directly to the Placer SPCA. Bennett’s also supports the Placer SPCA with a $1 donation for each Spicy Chihuahua cocktail that we sell. We love helping this important non-profit organization improve the lives of companion animals, and are thrilled to partner with a local business like Really Good Wood that reflects our values.

Experience the beauty of Really Good Wood serving boards—come to Bennett’s today and enjoy one of our mouthwatering steaks, or visit our retail section to purchase your own Really Good Wood board to use at home!
